Places to Go in Korea!


 There are many famous places to visit in South Korea.
Let me intruduce some of the places.






Seoul

Seoul is the capital city of Korea.
The population of seoul is 10.58 million (2011).
There is a liver across seoul is called 'Han Liver',
and seoul has been grown up with Han liver.


Seoul has a very developed subway system.
Nowadays, there are 19 lines of subway through the whole city, Seoul.
You don't really need to drive a car in seoul
because you can go anywhere with Seoul subway.


There are many interesting places to go in Seoul.
One of the places is Junggu.
Junggu is located in the center of Seoul.




In Junggu, there is Dong-dae-mun shopping center which is the biggest
shopping center in Korea.




Chung-gye-chun is a small liver in Junggu.
It is famous for couples to date and walk along the liver.




In-sa-dong is a place where the traditional buildings are remaining.
You can buy many traditional staffs
waking through the street.




Myung-dong is one of the most famous places to foreigners.
It is a shopping street.
Street shops and foods are interesting in Myung-dong.




Nam-san tower is a tower of Seoul.
You can climb or take a cable car to reach.
You can see the whole view of the Seoul, and the night view is very beautiful.

PyeongChang

PyeongChang is in Gyung-gi-do at North-West in South Korea.
PyeongChang is the place where is selected to hold the Winter Olympic in 2018.
The land scape is higher than other places
so, you can enjoy beautiful winter view.




PyeongChang is the first place where welcomes the winter in South Korea.
A lot of snow comes druing the winter,
and it is very famouse for winter sports such as skiing.








In winter, a lot of festivals start.
One of them is winter fishing.
You can catch as much as you can in the freezing water they provided,
or you can enjoy ice fishing.





It is not attractive only in winter, but in summer as well.
 There is a wide green tea farm,
and a sheep farm.
It is good to date with your partner in summer
because the temperature is still cool in summer.

Jeju Island


Jeju Island is one of the most popular places in Korea.
It is at the end of South of Korean peninsula.
Some places of Jeju Island are selected as World Cultural Heritages.
There are beautiful sea and natures which are
preserved well.






Halla Mountain is the highest mountain in South Korea.
It is made by the explosion of volcano long time ago,
and because of the explosion,
there is a huge lake at the top of the mountain.
It is very beautiful to see.
I strongly recommend to visit here.





Sung-san-il-chul-bong, and Chun-ji-yeon water fall are also famouse in Jeju Island.
The walking street to the Chun-ji-yeon water fall is
very beautiful with lots of greenaries
and bright sunshine.




The most famous food in Jeju Island is pork.
Black pig is the traditional animal of Jeju Island,
and long time ago, they lived under the toilet and ate human's excretions.
It might sounds dirty,
but the tast is very good.

Jeon-Ju

 Jeon-ju is the place where you can experience the
traditional Korean houses and cultures.


There is a preserved place and remained all the traditional houses.
Jeon-ju was the place where the loyal families lived long time ago.
The houses in Jeon-ju were for the loyal families,
and it was well built.



One of the most famous food Bibimbab's origine is Jeon-ju.
